Korean Children's Performances in Russia Are Great Hit
Pyongyang, September 6 (KCNA) -- Students of Moranbong Secondary School No. 1, who visited the Far Eastern region of Russia as members of the friendship cultural delegation of the DPRK from August 28 to September 4, gave performances in Artyom, Partizansk, Nakhodka and Pokino cities of Russia.

The performance venues were before full houses with audience who came to see the performance of schoolchildren of DPRK-Russia Friendship Moranbong Secondary School No. 1.

Put on the stage were instrumental quintet "National Anthem", kayagum solo "Ongheya", dance "Changgu Dance", chorus "Forward Following Footsteps of Marshal Kim Jong Un" and Russian songs "Kalinka", "Katyusha" and "The Evening in the Suburbs of Moscow".

The performers made a high artistic portrayal of cheerful and happy Korean children.

The performances were highly acclaimed by the audience.

The mayor of Artyom expressed heart-felt thanks to Kim Jong Un for sending such an excellent children's art group in the significant year of Russia-DPRK friendship.

The mayor of Partizansk said with excitement that citizens were struck with admiration at the high artistry of the Korean children.

The acting mayor of Pokino said that he came to know well how high the general artistic level of Koreans is.

The speaker of the Partizansk City Assembly said he was envious of the Korean children growing up soundly under the good education system.

An aid to the mayor of Nakhodka City Administration said bright and rosy is the future of the Korean children under the leadership of the great and kind-hearted leader Kim Jong Un.
