Russia-Korea Friendship Classroom Appears in Russia
Pyongyang, September 5 (KCNA) -- There took place a ceremony of naming the Russia-Korea Friendship Classroom at Middle School No. 5 in Khabarovsk City of Russia on September 1. Displayed on the front wall of the classroom were portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and a picture of Marshal Kim Jong Un among children.

On display there were the tablet reading "Russia-Korea Friendship Classroom" and photos and art pieces introducing the DPRK.

Congratulatory speeches were made.

The mayor of Khabarovsk City said he was very pleased that portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and a picture of Kim Jong Un were displayed in the classroom of the school and it was named the Russia-Korea Friendship Classroom in the year of Russia-Korea friendship.

This will make a positive contribution to the development of the traditional Russia-Korea friendship, he said, and went on:

Through the operation of the friendship classroom Russian students will properly understand the DPRK dynamically advancing along the way chosen by itself despite harsh sanctions and pressure of outside forces.

The friendly and cooperative relations between the peoples of the two countries who forged militant friendship while fighting against the common enemy in the same trench will grow stronger.

A gold-plated key, symbol of the friendship classroom, was conveyed to the principal of the school.

The participants in the ceremony watched a video on the camping of students of the school at the Songdowon International Children's Camp and enjoyed an art performance.

Present at the ceremony were personages of the Khabarovsk City Administration and Middle School No. 5 in the city and masses.

Officials of the DPRK mission in Khabarovsk were present there on invitation.
