Rodong Sinmun Urges S. Korea Not to Do Foul Behavior
Pyongyang, September 5 (KCNA) -- Now south Korean conservative media recklessly take issue with the north, talking about "the north's dismantlement of its nukes" and "provocation possibility in October." They brand reunion of the separated families and relatives as "north's trite card for negotiation." The "General Federation for Freedom," the "Association of Reservists of south Korea" and other conservative organizations vie with each other to say that they would force the north to "pay dearly" and "vicious circle of provocation." Even those human scum are running wild with anti-DPRK leaflet scattering operation.

These are sinister behavior to trample down the bud of improvement of the north-south relations, Rodong Sinmun Saturday says in a commentary.

Looking back upon the past, the ultra-right conservative elements in south Korea have chilled the enthusiasm of Koreans for reunification, slandering the north categorically and hindering the authorities whenever there is a sign for improvement of the inter-Korean relations, the news analyst says, and continues:

Now is the time to think twice before talking a word and doing one action in the spirit of the north-south agreement and maintain the situation well.

Media is more important. The basic position of media is to clearly see the reality and report the truth from the point of view of a fair deal and promote the improvement of the north-south relations.

However, the conservatives of south Korea are impudent.

Now is the time responsible for the north and the south authorities. If they have a sense of obligation for the destiny of the nation, they should stop sinister behavior hurting the fellow countrymen in the north and blocking the improvement of the north-south relations and positively join in the trend of dialogue and peace.

All Koreans are watching for the south.
