Japanese Government's Apology and Reparation for Massacre of Koreans Demanded in S. Korea

Pyongyang, September 4 (KCNA) -- More than 120 national organizations of south Korea including the "Federation of Homogeneous Nation Movement Organizations" made public a joint statement on Sept. 1 in demand of an apology and reparation of the Japanese government 92 years since the Japanese imperialists ruthlessly killed Koreans during the great Kanto earthquake, according to the south Korean internet newspaper Thongil News.

The statement disclosed that the Japanese government not only took part in killing Koreans but also encouraged and connived at the massacre.

It urged the Japanese government to make a sincere apology and reparation for the massacre of the Koreans during the great Kanto earthquake.
