DPRK's Birthday to Be Observed by Foreign Media
Pyongyang, September 4 (KCNA) -- Russian and Cambodian media carried special write-ups and aired special program between August 20 and 28 on the occasion of the 67th founding anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).

The Russian paper Komsomolskaya Pravda devoted one whole page to an article titled "Invincible socialist power" with portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and photos dealing with the might of the heroic Korean People's Army and showing a panoramic view of Pyongyang City.

The paper said that the President, founder of the DPRK, turned the motherland into a prosperous socialist country. It went on:

The DPRK has not only defended the banner of socialism but ushered in a new era of building a thriving nation despite the worst difficulties and adversity at the end of the last century under the leadership of H.E. Kim Jong Il who carried forward the cause of the President.

The might of the DPRK is being more powerfully demonstrated under the leadership of H.E. Kim Jong Un.

The DPRK will always shine as an invincible socialist power.

The Cambodian FM 90.5 Radio said that the wild ambition of the U.S. to stifle the DPRK proved to be a daydream.

It went on:

The first reason is that socialist Korea holds the great leaders in high esteem.

The second reason is that it has a great guiding idea.

The third reason is that the Korean people regard socialism as their life and soul.

The Apsara TV and Radio Broadcasting Service of Cambodia aired the similar program.
