DPRK Strives to Better Tele-education System
Pyongyang, September 3 (KCNA) -- A vigorous campaign has been conducted in the DPRK's education field to better the tele-education system.

Kim Il Sung University finalized about 1 000 teaching programs and raised the utility rate of facilities for tele-education. As a result, its Tele-education College started its operation with the e-library of the university as a center in April.

The Tele-education College under Kim Chaek University of Technology established its tele-education system based on mobile communication network. It enriched the content of teaching materials with the latest research findings and built up the high-tech databases.

Kim Hyong Jik University of Education developed the tele-education aid programs and improved the quality of its tele-education.

Such tele-education system was also established at other universities and, consequently, officials and employees at more than 1 280 industrial establishments and organs across the country are now enlisted at the tele-education network.
