Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Thursday says this is the tacit denial of the history of the past crimes committed by Japan completely following Abe's "statement."

The commentary goes on:

A criminal does not admit his crime as he has no intention to repent of his sin but to repeat it.

It is the ultimate purpose of Japan to become "leader of Asia" at any cost through revival of the "empire" and realization of the dream of "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere".

What should not be overlooked is that the Japanese reactionaries are using naive youngsters for realizing their sinister ambition.

Of course, this is not the first time that Japan is teaching the younger generation distorted history.

From long ago the Japanese reactionaries implanted a wrong outlook on history and ultra-nationalist idea into the minds of young Japanese through distorted history textbooks and publications with right-wing inclination.

Younger generation of Japan are now growing to be morally deranged people after being educated in militaristic idea according to right guidelines. The Japanese reactionaries are mulling using such deformed youths as shock force in the operation to realize the "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere."

It is the foolish and shameless calculation of the narrow-minded guys on the island that if they do not admit their history of aggression and crimes, they can evade the responsibility for reparation.

Japan should awake from the nightmare of militarism as early as possible, honestly acknowledge its past crimes and make a sincere apology and adequate reparation for them.
