Blood Shed by Koreans at Hands of Americans Should Be Avenged with Blood: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, September 3 (KCNA) -- The U.S. history of aggression against Korea is not just confined to 70 years but has nearly 150 years which started from the intrusion of its ship General Sherman in 1866.

Rodong Sinmun Thursday says this in an article.

It goes on:

The above-said history is characterized by the U.S. crimes as it fully revealed the brigandish nature of Yankees and its true colors as sworn enemy of the Korean people from its very beginning.

The U.S. is, indeed, the source of misfortune as it imposed all disasters and pain upon the Korean people and made the future of the Korean nation gloomy.

The U.S. remains unchanged in its ambition to dominate the whole of Korea.

What it seeks is to put Korea under its permanent control and, on this basis, realize its domination over northeast Asia and the rest of the world.

Precisely for this reason it is the only action to force the U.S. to pay for the blood shed by Koreans.

The U.S. can never escape the fate of ruin in confrontation with the DPRK as evidenced by the miserable end of its ship General Sherman and its defeat in the Korean war in the 1950s and subsequent period.

The Korean people will fight against the U.S. imperialist aggressors to the last and surely win a great victory with the indomitable will to annihilate the sworn enemy, the article concludes.
