U.S. Imperialists' Moves for Aggression against DPRK under Fire in Bulgaria
Pyongyang, September 1 (KCNA) -- The August 1-15 issues of the Bulgarian paper Novo Rabotnichesko Delo carried articles under the caption "Month of solidarity with Korean people."

Noting progressive mankind is observing the period between June 25 and July 27 every year as month of anti-U.S. joint struggle or month of solidarity with the Korean people, the paper said:

The West is conducting false propaganda that the DPRK ignited the Korean war.

But all historical facts prove that the U.S. imperialists provoked the war.

The paper introduced in detail the fact that the service personnel and people of the DPRK resolutely beat back the invasion by the U.S. imperialists.

Referring to the signal successes made by the service personnel and people of the DPRK and the heavy setbacks the U.S. sustained in the whole period of the war, the paper continued:

More than 60 years have passed since the ceasefire but the war wounds have not been healed.

An armistice agreement, not a peace treaty, was concluded and both sides are, therefore, technically at war on the Korean Peninsula.

The U.S. imperialists have not yet withdrawn their forces from south Korea but have staged ceaseless large-scale war drills with even nuclear strike means involved every year, straining the situation on the peninsula.

That's why the world progressive people are censuring their moves for aggression and extending support and solidarity to the Korean people in their efforts to achieve their just cause.

The Korean people are staging a nation-wide struggle to force the U.S. imperialists, a source of misfortune of the nation and the danger of war, out of south Korea this year, the 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation.
