Nigerian Body Demands Halt to Joint Military Drills
Pyongyang, August 29 (KCNA) -- The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism posted on its website an article titled "Halt to joint military drills is touchstone for ensuring peace" on August 22.

The article said the Korean Peninsula is the biggest hotspot in the world.

The U.S., the largest nuclear power in the world, stages large-scale war drills for aggression near the Korean Peninsula, different from other military drills.

The danger of the war drills will never reduce though a "visiting group" is invited to the military drills.

It is illogical to compare the joint military drills by the U.S. with huge armed forces including preemptive nuclear strike means involved with the military training by the Korean People's Army.

Not a few U.S. experts for Korean issue recognize that halt to the joint military drills is a precondition for the settlement of the Korean issue.

Whether the U.S. stops the joint military drills, the most vivid expression of its hostile policy toward the DPRK, or not, serves as a touchstone judging whether it wants to solve the Korean issue peacefully or not.
