Russian Papers Introduce DPRK
Pyongyang, August 29 (KCNA) -- The 31st issue of Pravda Primoriya, the organ of the Maritime Territorial Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, dedicated two whole pages to a travelogue on the DPRK by the editor-in-chief of the paper of his party under the title "Land of morning calm".

The paper said some foreign media are conducting false propaganda about the DPRK.

Just are the efforts of the Korean people to firmly protect what they have gained at the cost of blood despite the U.S. moves, the paper noted, and went on:

When the former Soviet Union and other anti-U.S. countries collapsed in face of the U.S. offensive of "democracy," the DPRK, not a big country, has pursued its unique independent policy and defended collectivism, confidently advancing despite harsh sanctions.

The DPRK is pursuing the Songun politics.

It is focusing efforts on bolstering up the national defence capability. It had access to nukes and launched satellites by its own efforts.

All this is necessary to cope with the anti-DPRK moves of the U.S. and its ally south Korean authorities and it is all the more so under the present situation where south Korea has turned into a nuclear arsenal of the U.S.

The paper carried photos taken by the members of the visiting group.

The Russian paper Bremya Peremon Plus TV Nos from 29 to 32 carried similar news.
