Korea's Liberation Day Marked Abroad
Pyongyang, August 29 (KCNA) -- There took place seminars in UK, Bulgaria, Ethiopia and Indonesia from August 10 to 13 to mark the 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

The chairman of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea at a joint seminar on the theme "Juche idea and 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation" said President Kim Il Sung founded the Korean People's Revolutionary Army, waged an armed struggle against the brigandish Japanese imperialists armed to the teeth and thereby liberated Korea.

The general secretary of the Central Committee of the New Communist Party of Britain said the President made efforts for true unity and equality among the revolutionary parties, adding his life was the great one guided by the Juche idea.

The chairman of the Bulgarian Communists' Party, the acting chief of Kim Il Sung Library in Sofia, the chief of the Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and other reporters and speakers said Korea's liberation was the historical event as it opened rosy prospect for the Korean people for building a new country and carving out the independent destiny. They highly lauded the President for liberating Korea.

The chief of a branch of the Ethiopian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism said August 15, 1945 was the historical turning point for the Korean people.

A congratulatory letter and message to Marshal Kim Jong Un were adopted at seminars held in UK and Bulgaria.
