Juvenile Crimes on Increase in S. Korea
Pyongyang, August 26 (KCNA) -- Crimes have become endemic among south Korean teenagers, according to the south Korean internet newspaper Newsis on August 23.

The number of teenagers who had been put in custody on charges of murder, theft, rape, arson and other high profile crimes reached more than 13 000 from 2011 to 2014.

Rape and other sex-related crimes held 70 percent of them.

Murder has been on steady increase and as a result 2.8 times more murder cases than that in the year 2011 were reported last year.
