DPRK Women's Football Team Beats South Korean Team

| Pyongyang, August 23 (KCNA) -- The DPRK women's team beat its south Korean rival to advance into the semi-finals in the 2015 Asian U-19 Women's Football Championship. The championship began in Nanjing of China on Aug. 18. It brought together eight teams of the DPRK, Uzbekistan, Australia, etc. Divided into two groups, they played league matches. In the Group B the DPRK team beat its Thai rival 5:0 on Aug. 19 and its Iranian rival 9:0 on Aug. 21. The DPRK team beat the south Korean team 1:0 on Sunday. |
