DPRK's Just Measure Supported by Foreign Figures
Pyongyang, August 23 (KCNA) -- Foreign figures issued statements in support of the DPRK's just measure as regards the prevailing serious situation on the Korean Peninsula.

The deputy general secretary of the National Democratic Congress of Ghana said on Aug. 21 that he recognizes the measure taken at the emergency enlarged meeting of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea as the just self-defensive measure and strongly urges the south Korean authorities to stop at once the reckless politically-motivated military provocation on behalf of the leadership of the National Democratic Congress of Ghana.

Tin Tun, director of the Myanmar Medical Research Institute, on Aug. 22 urged the U.S. and the south Korean authorities to stop at once the psychological warfare broadcasts, leaflet scattering operations and other politically-motivated military provocation against the dignified DPRK and make an apology for them.

The national chairman of the People's Progressive Party of Nigeria said in a statement on Aug. 22 that he extends full support to the friendly Korean people on behalf of the party, expressing belief that victory is in store for them in the sacred war for defending the destiny of the nation and global peace.

Ibrahim Mantu, member of the Credit Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Nigeria and chairman of the Nigeria-DPRK Friendship Association, on Aug. 21 strongly urged the south Korean authorities to accept the DPRK's just demand without fail and stop acts of escalating tensions on the Korean Peninsula.
