Kim Il Sung's Exploits Praised by Foreign Figures
Pyongyang, August 23 (KCNA) -- There took place events in different countries on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

They included a meeting and film show in Venezuela, photo exhibition and film show in Nigeria, reading session in Uganda and round-table talks in Indonesia from August 10 to 16.

Displayed at the venue of the photo exhibition were photos documenting the exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

Also displayed there were photos introducing successes made by the Korean army and people in the building of a thriving socialist nation under the guidance of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Korean films including "Masikryong Ski Resort", "Arms of Korea" and "Pyongyang Today" were shown at the film shows.

A Venezuelan political party figure and the chairman of the Venezuelan National Society for the Study of the Juche Idea said that the President led the 15 year-long anti-Japanese armed struggle to victory and accomplished the historic cause of the country's liberation.

A deputy principal of Kitante Primary School in Kampala City of Uganda said that the President led the arduous anti-Japanese armed struggle to victory and opened up an avenue to genuine freedom, independence and national rebirth for the Korean people.

The manager of an Indonesian company said that exploits the President, the benefactor of the national rebirth and peerless patriot, performed by liberating the country will always be remembered by the Korean people and progressive mankind.
