Kim Il Sung's Feats Praised by Foreign Figures
Pyongyang, August 21 (KCNA) -- Meetings, photo and book exhibitions and film shows took place in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Malaysia on Aug. 14 and 15 on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

Displayed in the venues of the events were photos dealing with feats of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

On display were their works, and photos and books introducing Songun Korea.

Films shown included Korean film "Kimilsungia".

Dag Norum, chairman of the Ostfold County Committee of the Communist Party of Norway, said that Korea's liberation was a historic event that heralded the start of independent, prosperous and new Korea.

Christer Lundgren, chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association, said that Korea's liberation was a great and historic victory made by the Korean people in the national liberation struggle in colonies.

Juha Kieksy, chairman of the Finnish National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, highly praised feats performed by Kim Il Sung who embarked on the road of struggle to save the country and the nation in his teens, founded the Juche idea, achieved the historic cause of the country's liberation and built a powerful socialist country centered on the popular masses.

Congratulatory messages to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events held in Norway, Sweden and Finland.
