Speakers said they have contributed to building a thriving nation and improving the people's living standard by managing equipment as required by science and technology and putting production processes on a CNC basis.

They dealt with scientific and technological achievements made by them in putting national economy on a Juche-oriented, modern and scientific basis while giving fullest play to the might of the self-supporting national economy.

They noted that they have briskly conducted massive technological innovation movement and the movement of the February 17 shock brigade of scientists and technicians in the pilot sectors and major industrial sectors of the national economy in the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance.

They vow to glorify the feats performed by President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il by devoting themselves to developing science and technology of the country and discharge the mission and duty of the Korean working class in the Songun era by taking the lead in the drive for implementing the behests of the great leaders and defending the party's policies.
