System of Supplying Soya Milk to Children in DPRK
Pyongyang, August 19 (KCNA) -- Twenty-odd years has passed since a well-organized system was established in the DPRK to supply on a regular basis soya milk to the children at nurseries, kindergartens and schools in the capital city of Pyongyang.

In the period, hundreds of thousands of tons of soya milk in total were supplied by exclusive vans, which ran a course of 16.1 million kilometers in total length.

The supply of nutritious soya milk for children has become a daily routine in the country, thanks to the loving care of the peerlessly great persons.

President Kim Il Sung saw to it that a foodstuff factory for children was built in Pyongyang and indicated the orientation and ways for specializing the production of nutritious milk. And he took a decisive step to make milk with beans in keeping with the country's conditions limited for stockbreeding.

Leader Kim Jong Il had always shown deep care for the production and supply of soya milk. He provided advanced equipment and facilities needed for processing the soya milk and took a measure to establish the traffic system for its supply. After all, the supply of soya milk to the children continued every day without letup even in the period of the Arduous March when the country was pressed hard for everything.

Supreme leader Kim Jong Un visited the Pyongyang Children's Foodstuff Factory in December Juche 103 (2014), stressing the importance to realize the modernization of the factory in a perfect way.
