DPRK's Space Development Introduced by Russian Media
Pyongyang, August 19 (KCNA) -- The Aug. 10th issue of the Russian newspaper Pravda Primoriya allotted one whole page to an article titled "DPRK aspires after its own space flight".

The paper said that the DPRK registered a world-startling success without help of the EU and other countries advanced in developing space despite serious economic sanctions.

It stressed that the DPRK manufactured a carrier rocket by its own efforts and successfully placed satellite in its orbit.

It went on:

Media of the Western and some other countries are resorting to false propaganda of branding the DPRK's policy of developing space as one for "threatening" the U.S. and Japan with "missiles".

Even when the DPRK succeeded in launching its first satellite, they let loose a spate of sophism that it launched IBM.

In order to deny such sophism, the DPRK organized foreign experts and reporters' visit to its satellite-launching ground in April, 2012 and opened its launching to the public and proved its transparency.

The DPRK succeeded once again in launching its satellite despite any sanctions and pressure of the U.S. and its follower countries.

This made it possible for hymns of President Kim Il Song and HE Kim Jong Il, the great leaders of the Korean people, to be echoed all over space.

The U.S. is mulling expanding its sanctions against the DPRK while propagandizing the latter's satellite-launching as the one for military purpose at any cost.

However, this further consolidates the position of the DPRK which successfully explored scientific research field for developing space by its own efforts.

The paper carried the content of an interview between a delegation of Partizansk City, Russia and officials of the National Aerospace Development Administration of the DPRK illustrated with a photo.

The paper Bremya Peremon Plus TV also conveyed the same content on Aug. 12.
