A meeting and photo exhibition were held in Cuba and photo exhibitions in Romania, Guinea and Nigeria on August 11 and 12.

Displayed at the events were photos documenting the exploits and revolutionary activities of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also displayed there were photos showing efforts of the army and people of the DPRK.

The first vice-chairman of the Cuban Committee for Supporting Korea's Reunification said in his speech that the President liberated the country and thus the Korean people could be freed from the fate of the Japanese imperialists' colonial slaves and enjoy an independent and dignified life as the masters of their destiny, state and society.

He went on:

The President brilliantly accomplished the cause of founding the party, state and army, resolutely frustrated the invasion by the U.S. imperialists, wisely led postwar rehabilitation and construction and socialist construction and built a powerful socialist country independent in politics,, self-supporting economy and self-reliant in defense.

He set forth the three charters for national reunification to provide the basic cornerstone for Korea's reunification and made great contribution to the cause of global independence.

Korea's reunification, desire of the President and leader Kim Jong Il, will be realized successfully under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

The director general of the Kim Il Sung Institute of Agricultural Science in Guinea said:

The President devoted his all to building a genuine people's state on the liberated homeland.

Under his leadership, the peculiar socialist system centered on the masses and invincible socialist state could be built in the DPRK.
