Wreaths Laid at Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery
Pyongyang, August 15 (KCNA) -- Wreaths were laid at the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery on August 15, the 70th anniversary of the country's liberation.

Seen standing on the wreath-laying stand of the cemetery was a wreath sent by supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

Pak Pong Ju, Choe Thae Bok and others, officials of the party, armed forces and power organs, the Cabinet, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, service personnel of the Korean People's Army and Pyongyangites laid wreaths.

A wreath in the joint name of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and the DPRK Cabinet was laid.

Also placed were wreaths in the names of ministries, national institutions, units of the Korean People's Army, organs in the fields of science, education and media, party and power organs and institutions, factories and farms in the city.

The participants paid silent tribute to the memory of the patriotic martyrs who dedicated themselves to the liberation, reunification and independence of the country and the prosperity of Kim Il Sung's and Kim Jong Il's Korea.

They looked round the cemetery.
