Wreaths Laid before Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong
Pyongyang, August 15 (KCNA) -- Wreaths were laid before the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong on Saturday, the 70th anniversary of Korea' liberation.

Seen on the wreath-laying stand was a wreath sent by supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

Present at the wreath-laying ceremony were Kim Yong Nam, Kim Ki Nam, Pak Yong Sik and others, officials of the party, armed forces and power bodies, Cabinet, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, service personnel and working people in the city.

Also on hand were a delegation of the Russian Federation Council, a delegation of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the charge d'affaires ad interim and staff members of the Russian embassy here.

Placed before the cemetery were wreaths in the names of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly and the Cabinet of the DPRK.

Also laid were wreaths in the names of the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, working people's organizations, ministries, national institutions, units of the Korean People's Army, institutions of science, education and public health, and party and power bodies in the city.

Placed there were wreaths in the names of a delegation of the Russian Federation Council, a delegation of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation and the Russian embassy.

The participants paid silent tribute to the revolutionary martyrs who laid down their lives for the liberation, reunification and independence of the country and accomplishment of the revolutionary cause of Juche.

They laid bouquets before the bust of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk and observed a moment's silence.

Then they went round the cemetery.
