The participants of the conference for national reunification and the international solidarity event for celebrating the 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation left the Tower of the Juche Idea, flying the flags of the conference, flags of the DPRK and flags of reunification, for the Central Youth Hall, the venue of the joint meeting.

Present there were Kim Yong Dae, chairman of the Central Committee of the Korean Social Democratic Party and honorary co-chairman of the North Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration, Kim Wan Su, director of the Secretariat of the C.C., the Democratic Front for the Reunification of Korea and chairman of the North Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration, Kim Jin Bom, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Solidarity with the World People and vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, officials of working people's organizations, public organizations and religious organizations and youths and students in Pyongyang.

Also present there were a delegation of Koreans in Japan for celebrating the 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation, a delegation of the General Association of Koreans in China, a delegation of the Joint Secretariat of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification, a delegation of the Federation of South Koreans in Japan for Democracy and Unification, a delegation of the International United Confederation of Koreans, a delegation of the Federation of Koreans in the U.S., a delegation of the U.S. Regional Committee of the Overseas Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration, a delegation of the Federation of Koreans in Canada, a delegation of the Federation of Koreans in Australia and overseas compatriots here.

Among the participants are also a delegation of the Syrian Arab-Korea Friendship Association, a delegation of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, a delegation of the Australia-DPRK Association for Friendship and Culture, the chairman of the Afro-Asian People's Solidarity Organization, the executive secretary of the World Peace Council and other foreign guests.

Speeches were made at the meeting.

Then followed a joint performance given by the art squad of the Central Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League and overseas compatriots and a dancing party.
