DPRK-Russia Stamp Exhibition
Pyongyang, August 13 (KCNA) -- A DPRK-Russia stamp show goes on at the Korean Stamp Exhibition House in Thongil Street of Pyongyang to mark the 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

The show opened on Tuesday and will last until Sunday, under the co-sponsorship of the Philatelists Union of Korea and the Russian National Philatelists Academy.

On display at the show are many stamps presented by philatelists of the DPRK and Russia, which give a glimpse of the history, culture and present-day development of both countries.

They include stamps showing the feats President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il performed in liberating Korea from Japan's colonial rule and defending the DPRK's dignity with the Songun (military-first) guidance.

And there are stamps carrying pictures of President Kim Il Sung in his external activities and leader Kim Jong Il meeting with Russian President Putin.

There are also stamps jointly issued by the two countries and stamps showing the developing bilateral relations of friendship.
