Slogan-bearing Trees Show Anti-Japanese Revolutionary Fighters' Strong Will for National Liberation
Pyongyang, August 12 (KCNA) -- In different parts of Korea, including Mt. Paektu, there are many trees bearing slogans written by the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters in reflection of their strong will to achieve the cause of Korea's liberation by themselves.

The Madusan revolutionary battle site in Anju, South Phyongan Province, visited by supreme leader Kim Jong Un, has trees bearing such slogans as "Don't abandon revolutionary faith though one may die" and "Fight death-defyingly for our country and nation".

The trees discovered in Rokya-ri, Kyonghung County and Phungri-ri, Onsong County, North Hamgyong Province bear such slogans calling upon all Koreans to turn out in the great self-reliant anti-Japanese war true to the intention of President Kim Il Sung.

At Chongbong Bivouac in the area of Mt. Paektu, there is a tree bearing letters reading "Young Koreans, take active part in the anti-Japanese war" that were written by anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk.

Similar slogan-bearing trees can be also seen in Pyongyang and Rason cities, South Hamgyong and North Phyongan provinces and other parts of the country.

All of those trees convey the immortal feats performed by Kim Il Sung in accomplishing the historic cause of national liberation and give a glimpse of the noble mental world of the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters who had kept their revolutionary principle and independent stand true to his intention.
