Pyongyang, August 12 (KCNA) -- Stamps were issued in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation from the Japanese colonial rule. They include one sheet, two sheetlets and one individual.

Printed in the stamps are letters reading "Celebration of 70th Anniversary of National Liberation" and "Juche 34 (1945)-Juche 104 (2015)".

The sheet carries an oil painting that shows President Kim Il Sung declaring the birth of the Anti-Japanese People's Guerrilla Army.

Seen in the sheetlets are a Korean painting "The Great Leader Meets Pyongyangites after Making a Speech on His Triumphant Return", oil paintings "The New Morning Dawns in Korea" and "The Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung Leads the Arduous March to Victory" and an acryl painting "Anti-Japanese War Hero Comrade Kim Jong Suk Defends the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung at the Risk of Her Life".
