Minju Joson Blasts Japanese Reactionaries' Evasion of Past Crimes
Pyongyang, August 12 (KCNA) -- Some days ago, an official of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan blustered that labor conscription of those of the Korean peninsula origin in the past doesn't appertain to the forced labor in view of international law.

Totally denying the drafting fact as regard the issue on the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army, the party submitted a proposal urging the present government to categorically refute the opinion of the international community.

Commenting on this, Minju Joson Wednesday says:

Japan's past crimes full of all sorts of shuddering acts against the humanity are not something that allows profound confusing of right and wrong.

It is a universally recognized fact that all the crimes committed by Japan in the past are hideous criminal acts against humanity which can not be denied by anything.

As for the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army, it was a criminal act as 200,000 Korean women were forced into shameful sexual slavery life with their chastity mercilessly violated. The international community has long branded such fact as unprecedented hideous crime against humanity.

Nevertheless, the Japanese reactionaries deny their crime with excuses such as the lack of evidence and groundless one, and are getting too narrow-minded to evade its obligation for settling the past.

The settlement of the past by Japan is an unavoidable legal and moral obligation.

This is the only way for Japan to recover her honor.
