Kimjongilia Show Opens in Russia
Pyongyang, August 12 (KCNA) -- A Kimjongilia (immortal flower) show was opened Nakhodka, Russia on August 7 on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

On display on the front wall of the venue was a photo documenting leader Kim Jong Il's visit to Russia.

The show was decorated with more than 150 potted Kimjongilias. Displayed there were photos and books introducing Songun Korea.

Zelenov, first secretary of the Nakhodka City Committee of the Maritime Territory of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, in a speech extended warm congratulations to Marshal Kim Jong Un and the Korean people on the 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation, sincerely wishing him, supreme leader of the Korean people, good health and the DPRK and the Korean people greater success in building a thriving nation under his wise guidance.

Mazur, director of the Nakhodka City Greening Co., Ltd. of Russia, said that Kimjongilia is symbolic of progressive mankind's boundless reverence and praise of the peerlessly great man who left a distinguished trace in the world history of politics with his outstanding idea and wise leadership.

Mishkin, chairman of the Nakhodka Regional Committee of A Just Russia, noted that the feats the forerunners performed by dedicating themselves to the liberation of Korea would shine forever and the great victory won by the Korean people would always go down in the world history of heroes as pride and honor of the Korean nation. The 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation provides a guarantee for boosting the bilateral relations on a higher level in the political, economic, cultural and all other fields in the future, too, he added.

The show will last till August 15.
