Rangrim Revolutionary Battle Site Draws Endless Stream of Visitors
Rangrim, August 11 (KCNA) -- Service personnel, people of various strata and school youth and children are visiting the Rangrim Revolutionary Battle Site every day on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

The battle site is associated with the revolutionary exploits of President Kim Il Sung and anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk. They advanced to the Rangrim area late in the 1930s to expand the armed struggle to the homeland and guided preparations for actively greeting the great event of national liberation.

An endless stream of visitors are calling on Wagalbong Secret Camp, the basic secret base in Mt. Rangrim which operated as a regional base for guiding an all-people resistance and an operational, action and logistic base of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army, during the period of the anti-Japanese armed struggle.

Kim Il Sung came to the land of Rangrim several times in August and September, Juche 27 (1938) and guided meetings of small units and political operatives and led them to prepare well for the all-people resistance.

Going round the log cabin of the headquarters, room of guards, etc. visitors learned about the great efforts made by the President to make thorough preparations for greeting the great event of national liberation.

They looked round the historic relics and trees bearing slogans in Janggol Bivouac, Sodongsan Secret Camp, Suchaegol Secret Camp and others.

In the Insan area of the Rangrim Revolutionary Battle Site associated with feats of Kim Jong Suk, they went round several places of the battle site, recollecting the revolutionary feats she performed by telling fire-field farmers about legendary stories about Kim Il Sung and arousing them to the anti-Japanese patriotic struggle.
