Rodong Sinmun Urges U.S. to Show Sincere Will for Dialogue
Pyongyang, August 11 (KCNA) -- High-ranking officials of the U.S. Department of State recently claimed that the U.S. is keeping the door of dialogue open but the DPRK is reluctant to come out for it and if it takes other way, the U.S. will take flexible approach to it.

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says in an article in this regard:

The DPRK continues proposing dialogue with broad magnanimity to defuse tension and create a peaceful environment on the Korean peninsula but the U.S. raises preconditions for it, declining to respond.

Earlier this year, also, the DPRK expressed the stand that it would temporarily suspend nuclear test if the U.S. temporarily stops joint military exercises and showed generosity that it is always ready to sit at the negotiating table with the U.S. if it wants to. But the U.S. answered the DPRK's sincere proposal with war maneuvers.

Tensions persist on the Korean peninsula without dialogue. This is attributable to the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK and joint military exercises for aggression.

Nevertheless, the U.S. is persistently pulling up the DPRK, a shameless scheme to cover up its true colors as the wrecker of peace and shift the blame for it on to the DPRK.

With no rhetoric can it conceal its true colors as disturber of dialogue and peace.

If it truly wants dialogue, it should stop the old ballad for dialogue and halt the joint military exercise to show its sincere will for dialogue.
