Red Flag Relay of KPA Service Personnel Goes on in East and West Coastal Areas
Pyongyang, August 9 (KCNA) -- Service personnel of the Korean People's Army (KPA) participating in the red flag relay are dynamically running in east and west coastal areas.

The service personnel running in the east coastal area arrived at Hamhung and Wonsan cities where they laid floral baskets and bouquets before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and paid tribute to them.

In the course of their journey they held diverse events including a meeting for learning from the spiritual world of the fighters who displayed the self-blasting spirit, singing of revolutionary songs in chorus and sports games.

They visited the Kamnamu Company on Saturday.

Going round a monument to the field guidance of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu and a room for the education in the revolutionary history, they were briefed on the fact that Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un visited the company at which they gave important instructions concerning training and combat preparations and improvement of soldiers' living and showed deep loving care for them.

They watched an art performance given by women soldiers, exchanged their experience in combat and political training and in the efforts to improve their living standard. They also watched swimming training of soldiers of the company.

They arrived at Height 351, the height of heroes on the forefront in the east on Sunday. They went round various places of the height and held a meeting to pledge revenge and a live bullet firing contest.

Meanwhile, the service personnel running in the west coastal area visited the Tabaksol Company on Sunday.

After being briefed in front of the monument to the revolutionary activities of Kim Jong Il, they watched a performance given by the art group of the company.

The service personnel running in the east and west costal areas are dynamically stepping up their journey towards Panmunjom.
