The editorial said Park Geun Hye talked volumes about four reforms in labor, education, finance, etc. in her public statement that day but she neither repented of the regime's policy failure nor set forth any solution.

The editorial denounced Park for misinterpreting the essence of young people's joblessness and economic crisis, shifting the blame onto the workers and stirring up social conflict.

The Democratic Alliance for New Politics, an opposition party, held a press conference at which it strongly criticized Park for letting loose tirade to the people without making any apology for the MERS crisis and Intelligence Service's illegal hacking.

The opposition party ridiculed the statement, saying it ended up crying out for "labor reform" aimed to pass the buck for economic failure to the workers.
