Recently more than 150 Japanese scholars held a press conference protesting the passage of the bills at which they made pubic a statement saying that the present chief executive's railroading of the bills is an act of ignoring the people's mindset. The Japanese authorities' adoption of the bills is criticized by the Japanese political circle and the international community.

Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Thursday says if Japan is opposed to war, it needs no new law. The news analyst goes on:

Japan unleashed a war of aggression against countries in the Asia-Pacific in the past. Unspeakable are the crimes committed by the Japanese imperialists during their invasion of Asian countries in the past period.

The Japanese government has not yet even admitted the past crimes. Worse still, it is embellishing the war crimes.

Turning Japan into a military giant and launching overseas expansion are the invariable ambition of the Japanese militarists.

Japan's passage of the security bills is a revelation of its criminal design to realize its overseas aggression by zealously joining the U.S in its strategy for world domination.

Such moves will make the Japanese reactionaries forsaken by the people.
