History of DPRK's War Victory Will Be Given Steady Continuity: Foreign Papers
Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) -- Foreign papers carried special write-ups to mark the 62nd anniversary of the victory of the Korean people in the great Fatherland Liberation War.

The Russian paper Nizhegorodskaya Pravda on July 23 devoted one whole page to articles under the bannerline "Fatherland Liberation War" illustrated with a photo dealing with the revolutionary activities of President Kim Il Sung and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The U.S. ignited a war of aggression with its ambition for dominating the whole of Korea after occupying south Korea right after the liberation of Korea but bent its knees before the army and people of the DPRK who turned out in the war under the leadership of the President, the paper said, adding the history of the DPRK's victory in the war will be given steady continuity.

The 28th issue of the Russian paper Veteran carried similar articles.

The Syrian paper Al Baath on July 27 carried an article titled "July 27 in the DPRK, day of victory" illustrated with a photo showing the tremendous might of the Korean People's Army.

The Syrian paper Al Thawrah on the same day said that under the outstanding leadership of the President the KPA prevailed over the enemy with numerical and technological advantages by dint of political and ideological, strategic and tactical advantages.

The Kuwaiti paper Al-Anba and the Senegalese paper Le Populaire on July 27 carried articles praising the President for leading the Fatherland Liberation war to victory.
