Seminar in Field of Social Sciences Held
Pyongyang, August 5 (KCNA) -- There took place a seminar in the field of social sciences to roundly expose the crimes committed by Japan in the past.

It heard a series of papers.

Speakers slammed the shameless Japanese authorities for having refused to redress their past crimes while talking about the "legality of "Ulsa (1905) Five-point Treaty" and cited facts to prove its illegality and invalidity.

They branded the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army as a war crime unprecedented in history and the worst state-sponsored crime against humanity.

They cited facts to prove that the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army was the state-sponsored crime committed by the Japanese government and military.

Defeated Japan has refused to properly probe the truth about the incident of Ukishima-maru, far from reflecting on the crimes it committed against the Korean people, making a clean sheet and making an apology and reparation for them, they noted, adding:

This incident was part of mass killings of forcibly drafted Koreans committed at the tacit connivance of the Japanese authorities and under their patronage.

Japan's occupation of Korea and atrocities committed during its colonial rule are the hideous state-sponsored crimes and crimes against humanity to which no statute of limitations is applicable.

It is the legal obligation of Japan to make apology and reparation for its crimes and liquidate them.

The speakers urged Japan to clearly understand the will of the Korean people and sincerely redress its past crimes at an early date.
