Japanese People Do Not Want Disaster of War: Minju Joson
Pyongyang, August 4 (KCNA) -- About 150 Japanese scholars held a press conference in Tokyo on July 20 and made public a statement in protest against the government's push for the adoption of security bills. 10 000 scholars and researchers voiced support for the stand of this scholars group. They had already staged a protest action outside the Diet building.

Minju Joson Tuesday in a commentary terms it a political splash caused by the unreasonable attitude of the Japanese ruling forces who made a U-turn to the path of war from peace.

They are busied themselves adopting the security bills, a reactionary act of turning Japan back to its inglorious past, the news analyst says, and goes on:

The Japanese authorities, however, are craftily scheming to realize their ambition for reinvasion, oblivious of the lesson of history.

What matters is who will suffer from massive disaster in case Japan ignites a war of aggression once again. Needless to say, the Japanese people will suffer from the disaster.

That is why the Japanese people are cursing the government authorities and strongly opposing war.

They do not want disaster of war again nor the final ruin of the country.

They are trying to stop the government from doing away the pacifist constitution and bringing catastrophic disaster to the country.

The Japanese government authorities should not remain a passive onlooker at the ever-worsening situation but think twice.
