Displayed in the venue of the meeting were photos dealing with the war victory exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung.

Speakers denounced the U.S. hostile policy towards the DPRK and strongly demanded the U.S. withdraw its aggression forces from south Korea at once and stop all acts straining the situation on the Korean peninsula.

At the meeting a solidarity statement was adopted to support the just cause of the Korean people.

The U.S. ceaselessly conducts provocative and aggressive war maneuvers in south Korea to prevent the Korean people from building a thriving nation and to harass the peace and security on the Korean peninsula, the statement said.

We denounce the forces following the U.S. for joining the U.S. plot against the Korean people by taking advantage of the tyranny and arbitrariness of the imperialists, the statement noted, adding:

We extend once again militant solidarity to the Korean people struggling for defending the just cause of mankind while frustrating the arbitrary practices of the U.S., devil on earth, and its followers.
