The bulletin carried articles titled "Peerless strategist", "Korea's July 27" and "Bitter defeat of U.S." to praise President Kim Il Sung's exploits in winning victory in the war.

The bulletin said in a preface that the President, who was a symbol of steady victories and a peerless strategist, led to victory the Fatherland Liberation War (1950-1953) to protect the freedom and independence of the country from the U.S. imperialists' invasion and thus made the beginning of a downhill turn for the U.S. imperialists, enabling the Korean people to emerge a heroic people and the DPRK a hero country known to the world.
