Present there were officials, scientists, technicians, teachers and post-graduate students in the field of fiber paper industry.

Tens of valuable papers were presented by different units. They included the Ministry of Chemical Industry, Ministry of Food and Consumer Goods Industries, Publication Guidance Bureau, Chemical Fiber Institution of the State Academy of Sciences and Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry.

Those who took the floor introduced successes and experience made in developing the fiber paper industry such as the local production of pulp and chemical stuff and improvement of their quality, development of a new chemical fiber and stepped-up modernization of production processes.

At the public presentation, there was a lecture on the trend of development in the field of paper industry and scientific and technical issues of developing and using more fiber resources of the country.
