Japanese Reactionaries Urged Not to Go against People's Will for Peace: Minju Joson
Pyongyang, July 29 (KCNA) -- Japanese scholars, intellectuals and other ordinary citizens are coming out in protest against the security bills proposed by the government. Protest actions were staged by nearly 100,000 people in the evening of July 15, the day before the railroading of the security bills through the session of the House of Representatives. It was reported that this was the largest-ever demonstration in the history of Japan.

Commenting on this, Minju Joson Wednesday says the Japanese people are strongly protesting against the bills because the bills are very dangerous war bills which endanger the destiny of the country.

In the post-war period, Japan has made a peaceful development, not suffering such disaster as war entirely thanks to the "Pacifist Constitution", the news analyst says, and goes on:

But the situation is quite different from it.

Talking about "change of security environment", the present regime of Japan is claiming that it should take an active part in offensive military operations overseas so as to protect the security of the people.

The security bills which the Japanese authorities are working hard to make a law will allow Japan to come out as a belligerent party for the security of its allies such as the U.S. in case there is no threat of direct attack on the country. This means that Japan becomes a target of the other belligerent party by itself.

In this sense, the security bills are very dangerous bills for suicide as they lead the country not only to war but to disaster. This is precisely the reason why the Japanese people are so dead-set against the bills.

The Japanese reactionaries had better stop their rash actions, mindful that those going against the people's mindset have no future.
