Foreign Media Observe V-Day of DPRK
Pyongyang, July 29 (KCNA) -- Foreign papers and broadcasting services carried special write-ups to mark the 62nd anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

The Lao paper Congtap Pasason Lao on July 24 carried an article titled "Victorious tradition of DPRK" illustrated with a photo of President Kim Il Sung addressing the military parade for marking war victory.

The paper cited numerical data to detail how the U.S. ignited the Korean war by instigating the south Korean puppet army to realize its wild ambition for world domination only to be defeated for the first time in its history.

The U.S. was forced to sign the armistice agreement little short of a surrender document on July 27, 1953, the paper noted, adding that July 27 would be recorded forever as the day of victory for the Korean people.

The Nigerian paper Nigerian Observer on July 22 in its article titled "July 27 of Korea" said that the DPRK, a small country in the East, created a myth as it defeated multinational troops, which had come in attack under the helmet of the "UN Forces", for the first time in the world.

On the same day, Guinean domestic and international broadcasting services also introduced the Songun leadership exploits performed by the President.
