Present at the ceremony were Choe Ryong Hae, secretary of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, Army Lieutenant General of the Korean People's Army Ryom Chol Song, officials concerned and other people.

The participants placed bouquets before the graves of 400 mothers and 102 children before paying silent tribute to them.

Choe Ryong Hae said in an opening address that the newly built Sinchon Museum is a striking demonstration of the spirit and will of the army and people of the DPRK to glorify the history and tradition of victory forever under the uplifted banner of anti-imperialism, anti-U.S. class struggle.

He called upon all service personnel and people to wage a dynamic struggle for building a thriving socialist nation at an early date, rallied close around Marshal Kim Jong Un.

At the end of the ceremony, the participants looked round the museum.
