Great Loss U.S. Imperialists Suffered from Korean War
Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- 62 years have passed after the Korean people won a great victory in the three year-long Fatherland Liberation War by defeating the armed invasion of the U.S. imperialists.

July 27, Juche 42 (1953) was the day of victory for the Korean people but the one of bitter defeat for the U.S.

After signing the Armistice Agreement at Panmunjom, Clark, the then commander of the U.S. forces in the Far East and commander of the UN Forces, confessed that he felt fiasco like his predecessors MacArthur and Ridgway.

A U.S. congressman also said that the U.S. had suffered a great loss in Korea.

When the U.S., always boasting of its "invincibleness", invaded the young DPRK, nobody thought that the latter would emerge victorious.

During the Korean war, the U.S. imperialists mobilized over two millions of troops, one fifth of its air force and most of its Pacific Fleet armed with latest combat equipment and spent more than 73 million tons of war supplies.

But the army and people of the DPRK repelled the armed invasion of the U.S. imperialists and won the great victory in the war under the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung, the invincible and iron-willed commander.

The US News and World Report said that the loss of the U.S. army in the Korean war at least doubled all the losses it suffered from the past five big wars.

Marshal, former U.S. Secretary of State, and a Western newspaper said that the myth of the U.S. was shattered.

Now the U.S. is desperately keen on its moves to provoke a new war, oblivious of its defeat in the Korean war.

But the DPRK will always emerge victorious as long as it has the invincible revolutionary army guided by Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un.
