Executive Committees under Chongryon Meet

Tokyo, July 23 (KNS-KCNA) -- Executive committees under the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) met in different parts of Japan to vow to carry out the decision of the second session of the 23rd Central Committee of Chongryon, true to the historic letter sent by Marshal Kim Jong Un to Chongryon and Koreans in Japan on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of its formation.

The meetings held in Gunma, Ehime, Yamagata, Tochigi, Yamaguchi and Kagawa reviewed the achievements made in the innovation movement for greeting the 60th anniversary of Chongryon with leaping progress toward a fresh heyday.

Discussed there were tasks and measures for thoroughly carrying out the five-point tasks set forth in the letter "Let Us Usher In a New Heyday of the Movement of Koreans in Japan True to the Intention of the Great Comrade Kim Jong Il".

The participants pledged to thoroughly carry out the five tasks advanced b y Kim Jong Un for opening up a fresh heyday in the movement of Koreans in Japan and create new image of Chongryon and the movement.
