Koreans residing in New York, London, Berlin, Tokyo and other parts of the world have launched an indefinite hunger strike in demand of a probe into the truth behind the sinking disaster and punishment of those responsible for it and have held rallies at the third weekends of every month for nearly one year.

Koreans held a protest rally in Manhattan, New York on July 19.

There took place a signature campaign and rally urging the salvage of Sewol in London and Berlin on July 18. The participants blamed the authorities for dodging the probe into the truth behind the disaster.

A similar rally was held in Vancouver and Toronto, Canada.

Koreans in Australia also held a rally in Sydney on July 11 and clarified their will to remember the disaster and wage joint action until the truth is probed.
