Illegal Surveillance over People by IS Denounced
Pyongyang, July 24 (KCNA) -- Han Sang Hui, professor of law post-graduate course of Konkuk University of south Korea, was interviewed by Media Today on July 21 in connection with the illegal use of hacking program by the puppet Intelligence Service.

The IS has used the hacking program for surveillance, a violation of the basic rights of the people, he held.

It is a threat to democracy to collect information about people at will and to use it as a means for controlling them, he noted, adding the illegal surveillance by the IS prevents people from criticizing those in power.

The surveillance by the power organs meets the interests of specified classes only and brings harms to the people, he stressed.

The regime does not practice any control over the gathering of information about individuals, he said, urging the regime to bring down the surveillance-ridden society.
