They were greeted at Pyongyang Railway Station by Secretaries of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea Choe Ryong Hae, Choe Thae Bok, Kim Yang Gon, Kim Phyong Hae and O Su Yong and officials of the General Political Bureau of the Korean People's Army and other officials concerned.

They were warmly welcomed by Pyongyangites along the route.
