Korean Film Shows Held Abroad to Observe Month of Anti-U.S. Joint Struggle
Pyongyang, July 22 (KCNA) -- Korean film shows were held by the Juche Idea Study Society of Delhi, India, the General Union of the Algerian Workers, a company of Angola and a furniture factory in Abuja, Nigeria from June 29 to July 16 on the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle.

Films shown included Korean films "My Country Has Emerged Victorious by Dint of Single-minded Unity" and "Provoker of Korean War."

The chairman of the Juche Idea Study Society of Delhi, India said:

The U.S. provoked the Korean war on June 25, 1950 for the purpose of laying a springboard for realizing its wild ambition to dominate the world.

However, the army and people of the DPRK prevailed over the enemies' numerical and technical superiority with politico-ideological, strategic and tactical superiority.

The U.S. was compelled to sign the Armistice Agreement on July 27, 1953.

This day is remembered by the Korean people as the day of great victory when they shattered to smithereens the myth of the U.S. "mightiness" and defended the sovereignty and dignity of the country.
