DPRK's Important Day to Be Celebrated in Russia

| Pyongyang, July 21 (KCNA) -- A Karelia, Russia, preparatory committee for celebrating the 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation was formed on July 16. Victor Yegorov, chairman of the Karelia-DPRK Friendship Association of Russia, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to significantly organize political and cultural events including a lecture and seminar to praise the revolutionary career and exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il from July 16 to August 17. |
